彦根城博物館に出かけました。
埋木舎が大変印象的。
青年時代の隠忍不抜が開国の決断を生んだのですね。
戦後の歴史小説家・舟橋聖一氏の出身地でその蔵書による文庫と、自ら設計した机が
置かれていました。

Heijo Palace site is now going to hold its 1300th anniversary in 2010 to cerebrate the time when it was constructed as a capital of Ancient Japan. However the scheme of tthe event that has been disclosed so far is nothing but a cake drawn on a paper.
