An abbot Morimoto Kyojun(1892.11.18-1995.06.19) who revived the spririt of Buddhist precept that had been brought to Japan from China more than 1250 years ago by Ganjin(Jianzhen688-763.6.25) and possesed with treasures at Toshodaiji temple in Nara immediately after the post war Showa era , died in the physical and mental turmoil in Japanese peninsula. In 1995, we have enperienced the great Hanshin earthquake in January 17th, perhaps nobody except for the people in Nara prefecture do not know the Event held at Hujiwara
kyo palace site( the first Japanese capital designed following after continantal city planning), and the abbot Morimoto died in the climax of series of serious crimes by Aum shinrikyo cult members with revealing its actual situation and arresting its provokers.
